Default 32" tire fit without flipping spare carrier?

My spare tire is on its way to me as I type this but won't be here until tonight. I have a a bunch of tools at work and have some spare time today. I would like to know if a 235/85-16 will fit on the spare tire carrier without doing the flip mod.

I don't want to modify it if I don't have to, but would like to do so in a place and time that I have access to some nice equipment. If I had the tire mounted and balanced already I could just throw it up there and see but if I miss my chance I won't have the tools to do it until monday.

Worse comes to worse you can throw it in the back hatch or just leave it off till you can get it flipped. I'd flip it though. I've got mine flipped with a 31.6" spare and it fits nicely like that

How large would you say that gap is between your tire and bumper?

I have bfg A/T k02 235/85r16 and they do not fit on the carrier. I flipped it. Super easy. Cranked the wiper arm a few degrees right.

I takes an hour to flip the carrier, drill 2 new holes and cut out a notch for the wiper arm... and most of that time is waiting for the paint to dry

I have a 275/65R18 on the back with a flipped carrier and can barely fit my finger between the tire and bumper so you have no chance clearing that tire without flipping or getting one of those brackets
