Al right, the Disco is off getting all new tie rods, orange poly bushings all around, and a 2" Terrafirma lift put on. Then I'm off to have the tires I ordered installed. I know I need (or really want) to have all 5 wheels with the same tread pattern & size, so my hind sight question is, will the 245/75/16 tire fit the factory spare tire mount without modification? If it won't, is there a kit that will make it fit? Thanks!!

 

Iirc it should fit, any larger and you need to of set the mount higher, I have not bought my new tires yet

Yes it will fit great. 245/75/16 is one of the best overall tire sizes IMHO.

 

Great!! I did all of this without ever thinking about the spare... Really didn't want to be moving my spare tire onto the roof rack, or relocating my spare tire mount. I went back & forth between the 265/70/16's and the 245/75/16's and was afraid the width of the 265's might have become an issue I didn't want to address.

 

That tire will fit the spare mount just fine. 235/85 and 265/75 fit fine as well without modification.
