Default 32" tires

Anyone have any experience running them? I would like to try them out.

Why would you want to go 100 MPH with your sway bars disconnected?
Sure, many of us run 32's and some larger, what sort of wheeling do you do? Are you aware of the down side of going to a larger tire, more strain on our weak diffs, much lower low end torque and a loss of around 1.5 MPG?
Are you planning to beef up your diffs, gears, lockers and HD axles?

32" are fine. Over 165,000 miles with them (over 265,000 total mileage) on stock drive train and I'm not gentle.

Many Defenders and series came from the factory with 32" tires. Same drivetrain on defenders as on D1. D2 axleshafts if anything are stronger.

Um Mike, the reason for the signature is awhile back there was a thread about how people can't get over certain speeds without issues. Was just making a note that my Disco is very well maintained and has no issue with running tripple digits. As far as no sway bars, I connect and disconnect now and then. My average speed is 60mph down the freeway with my middle finger out the window haha.

Anyways, no I plan on keeping things stock but would like to raise my diffs off the ground as much as possible and get some beefier tread on my tires for mud and tough terrain. I do all sorts of off roading that is very stressful on the vehicle but I do know her limitations.

And if I cared about mpg's I wouldn't have bought a disco haha. I wouldn't mind one of those tdi5 engines though. 30 mpg sounds nice.

I'll start asking my tire shops if they have any 32's around.

Also, if you know or don't know, I built a custom rear bumper that sits around the same position as the stock bumper, will the tire door fit??

You can flip the tire carrier & notch for rear wiper.
