That might be the way to go. But I'm not sure what else you'd have to do to the suspension/drivetrain to make that work.

Going from 31.64" to 32.8" I doubt I really have to do anything. I have a lift, and the ones I have on now have plenty of room it seems.

What do you guys think over these two:
285 75 r16 or
305 70 r16. Personally I prefer skinnier, would you also?

I am confused, why are you thinking about a 99 T/Case when your 2000 already has a CDL inside it. As for the linkage, it won't rust if set up properly and you should have it for the traction you want from those tires.

Mike, he has a 2002 so no CDL. For tires, I'd stick with the "sknnier" tires or 285's. At 11+ inches wide, they are plenty fat.

I have a 2002 truck with no hardware on the front output housing. I like GBR's design, it looks pretty badass(besides being too big and awkward in that location)

I have 285 guard dogs on and they are big. You lose a decent amount of acceleration, braking and turning, and youll have to remove the front inner well covers and trim some remaining plastics as well or the fronts will grab while turning, especially in reverse and either slash the tire or make one hell of a noise and crack the bodywork over time.

they look great and fill the wheel well nicely with a 3" lift with plenty of room still vertically, just none front to back. gas miliage will be around 10 in town, 12-14 highway depending one what kind of tread you get. i upgraded the rotors and pads and it feels only slightly less then stock with stock tire size now. acceleration is nonexistent however without a re gear.

i would recommend axles and diffs however if you plan to offroad often or anything difficult. i went for the clearnance tall factor for snow and water, not for offroading. it doesnt feel top heavy though i must say, but i also have hd springs so its very stiff and probably hides the sway rather well.

youll def have lots of room under the truck though! i can get over just about anything, the bottom of the chassis ends up being just above my knee, so driving through a foot of water and youre not even wet.
