No one can convince me that if you get in a wreck, that insurance will have no problems should someone from the back seat get hurt. There are federal requirements manufacturers must meet and test for such options and you won't be able to proove that you've met them. I know it's an unlikely scenario, but it could ruin your life.
It is a bolt in installation. All the mounting points are there. They are just under carpet/trim. Look at the instructions that I reference in the post above. The seats are a LR accessory that you were able purchase. The instructions detail the installation of the seats/seat belts/head rests.

I believe that all the 7 seaters came with SLS from the factory to account for the extra weight when you have people back there.

Did not know that. Had a used dealer offer to have it installed for me on one of their models I would otherwise have not been interested in, but could not prove that it met any kind of safety requirements so I would not proceed.

However, not all 7-seaters came with SLS. Mine is a bonafide SE7 w/o SLS.

When Paul sells you one, it will come with everything you need and that is very important.

He is on this forum or you can contact him directly at classicroverparts@gmail.com
This email and site seem to be dead now, where who is the new parts distributer for rear seats and all the parts needed to add?
the PDF that has instructions and parts list is still good.

The parts you will need are the two folding 3rd row seats, seatbelts, and the neck restraints which are attached to the roof of the vehicle which you fold down when you have passengers on the 3rd row seats.

Al

P.S. The seats rattle at times, there is a service bulletin for fixing them - make sure you do this otherwise you will be disappointed.

Does anyone have the TSB for the rattle? I could not find it on https://www.autocodes.com/tsb/land_r...ii/2003/2.html

It looks like the rubber bumper is worn or compressed.
