Up to 400 trouble (and leak) free miles so far. No ticking or strange noises - runs strong and smooth. Temps are nice and cool - running straight distilled water at the moment. Oil pressure at hot idle seems way high at around 18 PSI - suspect it will start going down a bit over time.

Thinking about going straight to Rotella 15/40 after I hit 500 miles with the 30W break in oil. Thoughts?

Should be fine after 500 miles to go to the 15w40.

Kept getting P0332 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input. Tore into it last night to find the shielding had broken off. Re-crimped and all good. Should have taken some pics.

3500 miles and she’s running great!!!

No pinging from the slightly higher compression ratio and the larger intake valves and cam really seem to make a difference. Thinking about headers next - but I am in CA…

Beautiful work! Random question, but what is your windshield wiper setup? Looks very nice.

Tuff-Rok from AB.

I’m a big fan of the Bosch Icon wipers and thought these would be similar. Switching back to standard LR soon.
