I am selling the engine out of my 2001 SE. It is non-SAI, has 16X,XXX miles. Head gaskets were done a year and a half ago. I have ran Rotella in it since the HG change. It is still in the Rover and you can hear it run. The reason I am posting it here is I really don't know what a fair price should be for it. What would be a fair price? Clearly it will be more expensive if I have to pull it. I know they are priced between $700 to $1000 on eBay. Is that a fair price?

 

I paid $300 for a short block with low miles, $700 for a complete running engine does not sound too bad. You might want to test the oil presure.
