Is the 4.6L Disco II engine from BMW?

I remember that Range Rover was using a BMW engine for a while after BMW's takeover. And I know that late year Disco II inherited the Range Rover 4.6L engine. So I'm just curious if the 4.6L Disco II's have BMW engines.

No, the 4.6 is the last of the old Buick engines.
