Warranty about to run out - what common problems to look for?

Warranty about to run out - what common problems to look for?
I have a 2003 Disco SE7 with almost 40k. Before my warranty runs out I'd like to get as many common, especially big ticket, problems identified and fixed by the dealer as possible. Any pointers on where and what issues to look for will be greatly appreciated. My backgound is a 95 M3 and I've changed out the cooling system and suspension on that vehicle. I'd say my mechanical skills is mild.

You want to spend alot of time under the truck, looking especially for leaks, everywhere, axles, t/case, tranny and the engine, especially the head gaskets, coolant or oil, check the radiator for leaks. Try every feature on the truck, if there is a problem, write it down.
Consider buying an extended service contract from Rover to cover it for the next 3 or 4 years, a little expensive but they usually pay for them selves.

Thanks a lot for your response, Mike. While I understood the Disco wasn't the most trouble-free truck out there when I got mine, are you implying I'll be dealing with a heap of problems down the road so that the extended warranty will likely be worth it?

Not necessarily, The problem is one semi large repair like head gaskets $2400, t/case, tranny, diff, engine will kill you. So go with the old saying, "Pay me now or PAYYYYYY me later"
Take it from an old service writer/manager. doesn't matter any more what you drive, they are all getting more expensive to repair.

Also I drive the truck fairly hard in terms of full-throttle acceleration on the highway (in Sport Mode - holds engine to higher rev). Any additional areas I should look into given my driving habit? Is the suspension generally a concern?
