Default 4 Wheel Drive & Windshield Washers

Sorry for sounding like such an idiot, but here goes. Is my 2001 Discovery 11 SE a 4-wheel drive vehicle? I have the shift for low and high, but do not see anywhere any info about 4-wheel drive. I have just driven the vehicle from Cal to Maine. Of course i had no idea how to work the heater or the defrosters. LOL I am just curios?
ALSO,
I went to turn on my washers (ALL THIS SNOW AND 5-10 degree TEMPS) and there is no fluid. The wiper works when i pull the arm, so i gather it is not a fuse, but then again i know nothing. I poked a needle in the washer eyes just in case car wax or dirt may have plugged them, but again no fluid coming out from anywhere front, back & front headlight washers. Maybe the lines are frozen. As always i am clueless. LOL Any comments?
I thank you all as usual for your assistance.
Best,

Gordon

Your washers are frozen, might want to change the fluid and run straight w/s soltion so it won't freeze up so bad.
As fo the 4wheel drive, you are always in 4wheel drive which is control by your trucks electronic traction control. Your only option is to shift into low range when off the road playing hard.

I am having a similar problem with my washer eye except I live in SC and this problem started in 90 degree weather. I also carefully poked around and still no fluid.
The passenger side works fine, but the Driver side doesn't.Any thoughts?

Draining the systems is easy and inportant cause alot of scale builds up that will plug the lines to the wassher nozzles.
Sometimes a little air pressure is required to free up the water flow.
