What year and how many miles?
What other codes do you have and what sort of air filter are you using?

It is an 03 SE, with 65,000 miles. The air filter was replaced about 1000 miles ago with a fram one.

Most people told me MAF when I got this code, which it probably normally is. However in my case I was very low on ATF and the transmission was slipping at highway speeds. Of course my transmission was low due to the rather large hole in it from a lose propshaft......

Hey Mike,

Emissions testing told me gear 3 and gear 4 incorrect ratio. I have a bearmach hawkeye scanner for my '01 disco 2 and I can't find where these codes are stored. I thought the bearmach could read and clear codes on all of the D2 computers. Is this stored on the trans computer?

What actually happened was the A**Holes that sold me my truck 2 years ago electrical taped behind the check engine light. Engine says DTCs clear, SLABS says clear also. BCU doesn't have codes... please help

-Dave
