6x14 trailer just picked up, will it be the death of the D2?

I'd guess around 1500-2000 pounds inside a uhaul 5x8. I hardly noticed the trailer there at all, except for going up long steep grades. I also have 32" wheels, so that could be contributing to the pain.
I averaged around 10 mpg on Shell V-power. 1270 miles. I gassed up at the base of the grapevine and it was 3.99 gallon! Ouch

heres a couple pics of mine.
all the necessary tools for brush clearing and a drawer underneth for more power tools for cleaning any campsites. the batterieshave a solar panel on the roof to keep them charged as well.
front view place to hold the cooler while traveling.
electronics, water pump and furnace. inside is full electrical panel, controls and thermostat for the ac/heater on the roof, the furnace for the heater and one for the instan on hot water for a sink.
4 marine batteries two propane tanks and storage
I have since removed them from their welds so I can mount them on the back storage and or a picnic table. I have quick connections on each side of the trailer for the propane hoses for them as well.
side to rear view.. the back end has the batteries, propane tanks, 40 gallon water tank, storage, shore power and water connectios as well. the tent is now on the rogerrover.
the trailer comes with a spare mounted under the front and a hitch on the rear for a cargo hitch as well. I have decided to use the center area to carry my Honda trail 90 and a toolbox/work area.. its a nice trailer . I traded my 65 ford falcon for it as soon as I finished the restore.
