DO NOT USE DEXCOOL!!!! Flush the cooling system and stay with the green, you can buy it 50/50 pre-mixed which is the best to use. Your tap water has minerals in it that will speed up corrosion inside the cooling system.
DexCool is NOT compatible with other coolants, if you mix the two you get a gel that will not pump through the engine. Not to mention that DexCool is corrosive IF it is not properly maintained.
The trans fluid is very easy to change on a DI, just pull the drain plug and let it drain out, replace the plug and then refill with new fluid through the dipstick tube.
The diffs are easy also, you will need 4 quarts of gear lube. The t-case takes gear lube as well. Not sure how much it holds though. You will need a hand pump to replace the gear lubes.

Thanks Spike, I just got finished changing out the transmission fluid with Mobile 1 synthetic. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I'm gonna change the diff and t-case fluid tomorrow, then flush the radiator over the weekend. Thanks again for all the help guys...

What a difference the oil change and transmission fluid change made. My Disco is running better thanI have ever seen. I just can't wait to get the Magnacor wires and bosch plugs put in that I ordered.

+1 on the wires. Is the fill hole for the transfer case on the back side about 2 inches up?

It is the same type of plug used as a drain plug, it is located towards the top rear of the t/case partially hidden by the e-brake drum.

You will need a hand pump to refill the t-case.
