94 disco ????
Hello All,
I am about to purchase a 1994 Discofor my wife to use as a train station car and for me to use on the occasional snowy winter days here on Long Island.
This two owner disco is local it has93,000 miles body is in great shape with only a few scratches here and there.
it has a few issues that I hear are common on LR's......
SRS light is on
Drivers side door lock does not work, therefore the Fob will not unluck the door, you have to unlock the passanger door and climb through....
The price iswhat we want to spendand the seller is motivated since he has already purchased a 2000 Disco II.
Any suggestions on quick inexpensive fixes for the problems above?

SRS is your airbags, might be a sensor out, not sure, but it just means your airbags will not deploy if in a wreck. I would look into that one further. You may have to take it to a dealer or rover shop to have the codes read on that one.
The driver's door lock sounds like the actuator. Not a hard job, or expensive. You can get a new one and just pop the interior panel.
Be ready for poor gas mileage. Good Luck and welcome
