Well, I am having a really hard time finding a creditable news source that says anything bad about Obama and ACORN.
Let alone anything that says they threatened to sue a bank for not following the law.
From what I have read the CRA is a good thing and it does NOT force any bank to loan money to someone who does not qualify for a loan.

Seriously? well that is odd. Did you find anything about reporters referring to obama as "God" or reporters wearing obama buttons at one of his speeches during the election or a certain report getting a "thrill up his leg" when obama was elected?

In 1994 obama was one of the lawyers that represented Calvin Roberson in a lawsuit against citibank. The suit accused citibank of redlining (denying poor people loans because of their ethnic heritage). We all know that nobody would never ever use racial charges against a company to push their own agenda or for financial gains...right?

Well I used to live there, got tired of it after a few years. I did enjoy the Defender 110's way too much though, that is what I really want.

In regards to who started what in the economy, it does not really matter who started it, it was the general American public that fell for what they were saying. If you half a brain you would know that if you only made minimum wage and did not have an inheritance already in the bank that you could live off of you could not afford that $600,000 house. If you got caught in an interest only loan or an ARM then it is your own fault for not reading the paperwork fully. I have family that have fallen into this category and I have zero sympathy for them, they were playing the odds and lost, that is life. If we as a Nation were not so greedy then we would not be in this perdicament. It is not a right to own a home, it is not a right to have health insurance, it is not a right for everyone to be equal in every way. We all have the same opportunity as anyone else, it is what we do with that opportunity that sets us each apart.

Sorry for the rant, we just all need to be more responsible for our own actions, myself included.

I cant afford the $434 per month let alone the potential $7500 in deductibles.
Here in West MI the unemployment rate is 17%.
There are literally 2 pages of help wanted ad's in the Sunday paper, and they are either for nurses or fast food and almost all are part time.

Jesus taught to love your neighbor and feed him if he is hungry, cloth his children, put a warm roof over his widows head, give the jobless a job.
But yet you want to keep it all for yourself and just say "oh well, sucks to be you"
Thats not the American way, American's help the needy.

ur right Spike we Import trucks all the time. Petes, and Mitsubishis, so I didn't understand this. Could you also declare it as a self built vehicle to get around it? like a lost title vehicle.

I agree 100%. I get so tired of listening to the blame game from both sides. I might be young, but I was raised to take full responsibility for myself and not depend on others for my well-being. I credit that type of upbringing for giving me the mindset to save for a car starting at age 13, and then buying my first car at the age of 16. I hate asking my parents for money, i'd rather work for my money. The governments job is not to support the people, its the peoples job to take care of themselves and the goverments job to make sure everything runs smoothly. Its NOT their job to dig people out of their own hole. Heck, even the constitution says it:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The economic downturn fall solely on the shoulders of investors and banks who let these morons take giant loans on big SUVs and houses, and these people clearly couldnt afford it. You can blame Bush, Obama, Washington or whomever, but this economic collapse was in the works for nearly 10-12 years. It started in the early Clinton years (economists believe), and just happened to take its toll in the Bush era. Its not really either of their faults, but you can choose who to blame when it comes to fixing the problem. I hated the Bush bailout, and I hated the Obama bailout. Government and bailout should NOT be in the same sentence. Period. Just goes back to my first paragraph. Government is doing everything wrong right now IMO and its basically generational theft considering all the spending their doing... its very sad and I dont see how anyone can support it.

1.) Just did a huge project/paper on this. If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it's "free"! There are so many things wrong with giving everyone health care, it would literally screw over more people than it would help. I hate it when people are in tough spots, but there just isnt a big benefit to giving everyone health care. It would be terrible for this country.

2.)I agree with what Jesus taught, but Its the American way to help others, and the rich should do more to help others IMO. But its not the governments job to tell them to do so or how to do so. Basically, its not their job to tell people how to be good people. Sucks, but thats the way it (should) work.
