Default 95 Disco 3.9 Overheating:)

95 Disco 3.9 88K miles

Gentlemen:
I have been reading these forums for days trying to find the answer. It may be in here somewhere so let me appologize first if it is. Anyway here is my issue. It is like everyone elses.. Overheating...

This is my check list of what I have done.

1. Flush radiator
2. New Dexcool 50/50 with distilled water
3. New serpintine belt
4. New Radiator caps
5. Took Pump apart and teeth seemed fine. cleaned it and put on a new gasket? It may be slipping I dont know?
6. Took out stat...

Things Ive noticed to help you out.

1. I here the water going through the underside of the dash passenger side so I believe the pump is moving water. How fast I dont know?
2. When the car starts to over heat and move towards the red line I throw on the heater High and it drops below half within 2-3 minutes
3. It drops faster when I accelerate and I am moving.
4. When I am at a stop light 1500 rpm is when it starts to heat up.
5. If I take a sharp corner the temp gauge drops to halfway also.
6. After I drive for a while the water expands and I dont here the water gush under the passenger side dash.

I was asked this question:

Are both the electric fans running with the a/c on or while stop and go driving around town on a warm day?
YES Both electric fans are running fine.

First and foremost you MUST GET RID OF THE DEXCOOL!!!!!
DI's had good old plain Jane green coolant from the factory and that is what is recommended for them.

You have a big air pocket, thats why you hear water in the dash, thats why your temp gauge moves when you turn a hard corner.
