I bought a used factory cd changer for my '95 Discovery. I know I have the correct cables because I can get the disc changer to operate. My only problem is I cannot figure how the cd changer fastens to the bottom of the driver's side seat. Would someone mind posting a couple of photos showing how the cd changer sits beneath the driver's seat and what it connects to? The guy who I bought the changer from sent me some brackets but I can't figure out how they work.

What year did the changer come out of? from 96 and up, the changer mounts on the passenger side. Might check the dealer for mounting hardware if it is a different year.

 

I have a 95 and it goes under the drivers seat. I thought it was supposed to be under passenger side myself and when I got my Disco I just assumed I didn't have one. About 10 months after getting my Disco I was cleaning inside one day and took off the panel on the side of the drivers seat base and got a very nice surprise, a CD changer! It had no cartridge though but I've since found one of those and it works!

I'm going to be working on my truck on Thurs or Fri and I'll try and take a pic of the bracketsjrsherfy.
