The power seats in my 96 discovery only work when the doors are open.When the doors are shut all the power is cut from them. At the same time my seats stopped working the cigaret lighter also lost power. I have checked all the fuses and switches under the seat and they are all fine. The brake light is also constantly on even though the emergency brake is off. If you have any info to help me out please let me know.

 

This maybe two things.

Brake light on maybe that the fluid is low.

The seats switch may have a bad ground (earth).
