Red face 96 disco II overheating

Also water sound on the dashboard please help.thanks in advance

about a year ago wen i replace the water pump. thank you for the replay

Well that is the low hanging fruit, you may want to boil it to see if it is opening and closing correctly. Check to see if all 3 electric fans are working, clean off the outside of your radiator, then flush your coolant. You may need to get your radiator rodded or re-cored.
