97 with code P0300, P0303, P1314, P1313 runs rough What could it be?

97 with code P0300, P0303, P1314, P1313 runs rough What could it be?
My friend has a 97 Rover with a reman engine. He has been getting these codes since it was installed. He had new plugs, wires and coil pack installed at the time the engine was put it. I don't know this car at all other than what he told me. I am trying to help him fix it. Do you think the spark plug wires are crossed or could it possibly be a headgasket leak? He told me he hasn't had to add any coolant to the rover. Should I give it a compression check first or find a copy of the firing order/plug diagram and check it out? Does anyone have a plug diagram? Thanks.
