Default 97 Disco; Can it be towed on all 4 wheels with a Tow Bar?

Hi folks,

New to this forum. I'm looking/test driving a 97 disco from a relative. I like it so far. I'm looking to replace my 99 Jeep that I tow behind my motorhome.

"Can this 97' be towed on ALL FOUR of it's own wheels with a TOW Bar without damaging anything?"

If so, will it rack up miles on the odometer while being towed on it's own wheels?

I thank everyone in advance for your responses to this final evaluation point in my purchase.

Kurt

Yes, it can be pulled with a tow bar without adding miles to the odometer. Put both the tranny and t/case in neutral and you'll be fine.
