I loosened the 2 screws on the front and the radio will not slide out..Do I need to remove front cover?

I assume it is a factory radio you are trying to remove. Keep turning the screws until they won't turn anymore then try and remove the radio. If it has not been out before you may have to get a screwdriver or something just to help it break loose of the trim around it.

 

just dont break the trim
