Hiya all, A few years back I purchased a 97 Disco with 115,00 Miles on it as a spare car. It's been a true workhorse and has been super reliable.

Last year my sister's car crapped out so I gave it to her. She's a single mom with very little money. Every now and then the Disco will stall out when coming to a stop. It doesn't happen every time but seems to be happening more and more often.

After stalling it will start right back up.

A couple of days ago she couldn't get it to back out of the driveway. It would stall after moving a few feet in either direction. I took a look at it the next day and had no problems cruising around town.

I've done a search of the forum but can't seem to pin the problem down. It could be a fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel relay, it could even be the spider thingy hidden in the dash. Also I should note that my sister steadfastly refuses to use premium gasoline. I've explained the benefits to her to no avail.

If you have any opinions as to the nature of the stalling problem I'd be much obliged.

is the cel on ??, if not then start with the cheapest fix first......a new fuel filter
