Turns out my buddies fuel pump went out with his 98 disco w/advance evaporative system the fuel pump is the same out of a 97 Pontiac Sunbird v6 model a huge price difference only cost 80 bucks manufacturer is acdelco. He has been driving with it in his disco for about a year.

 

was that the entire pump assembly or just the pump (subpart of the assembly?) I just changed my pump out, 99 with the Adv. Evap. Sys. so far it is working great. If the entire assembly is available, well, that would be great! Thanks Phil

It was the whole pump assembly got it from shucks.

 

that is a smokin deal. I paid 80 or 90 dollars for the pump alone, not including the assembly. Great find. Dealer price was near $600, Atlantic British wanted $375. Phil

 

you might want to double check your friends info, I didn't see a sunbird made in 97. The pumps were about $80, the full assembly is about $300 give or take. Phil

 

Ya just gave him a call it was a sunfire not a sunbird
