Question 98 disco, new owner

Hello everyone!

My husband and I just bought a 98 lse disco. It recently hit the 100,000 mile marker. Neither of us are familiar with discos ( we've both had hondas in the past). Is there any typical maintenance work that needs to be done when the vehicle reaches 100,000 miles? Ex: water pump replacement, timing belt, etc...

Thanks!

Most people don't mess with the timing chain, unless they have the front cover off for something else anyways. They last a long, long time(200K+). This link will give you a good place to start and covers most everything.

If you just follow my list, all of which can be done on your driveway along with a little guidance, you will make your truck totally up to date and in the process, learn about what makes it tick.
If you have any questions, get back to me.
