Default 99 Disc I- window problem

it seems that my back seat drivers side window does not work, I can hear the motor spinning. Has anyone ever heard of it just falling off the track or is it most likely the regulator has broken ? I can slide it with my hand, but it does not seem to fall all the way down inside the door, currently using a suction cup to hold it up

Thanks....

Default RE: 99 Disc I- window problem

I think there are some guide clips that commonly break and lead to misalignment. On my '97 Disco, both front window clips had to be replaced at nearly the same time. If this turns out to be your problem, you might want to replace more than just the problem window guides as a bit of preventative maintenance. Good luck.
