Default 99 disco with ace /now w/o ace

so I bought a parts car and the person before disconnected the ace by changing the belt .Leaving out the cornering pulley , would this affect the power steering ? ... i bought it as a parts car but am thinking of salvaging her , and is oil in the air intake normal.

No that will not affect the power steering but it will not handle correctly.
No there is not supposed to be oil in the intake.
How well does it run?

if the ACE has been disconnected then I would "assume" that you would be pretty much running the truck without the ad of swaybars, I would think.

Why would you disconnect the ACE, it is one of the better features on your Disco.
