Default '99 Disco question

Ok, I test drove a '99 Kinversand Disco yesterday and have a question. The truck has the Harmon Kardon sound system. There are two little pods attached to the headliner on either side of the truck that look like they have two really small speakers in them. The driver side on is right behind the driver seat, whereas the passenger side is right behind the rear passenger seat. Can anyone fill me in on what these are?

Those are speakers. That is the up-grade stereo. Which means up gradeed speakers and sound.
Standard deck is Alpine.

They are actually 2 ultrasonic sensors that are connected to the alarm system, no speakers.

Yeah mine has those and I thought it was related to the interior motion sensor thingies.

...or is that part of my ejection seat? I forget.

It did have pretty good sound yesterday, although I didn't really stress it or anything. I figured those were either something to do with the stereo, likea sound adjustment mic or something, or something to do with the aftermarket cell phone dock installed in the truck. I'm pretty sure this dock dates back to the original purchaser in '99 cuz it's Nokia and is way bigger than any of their current phones. It has several wires running out the bottom of the dock, the larger of which goes to a secondary antenna installed on the top of the passenger side windscreen. There's also a small mic poking out next to the homelink buttons.
