Default 99 discovery rim fit a 2003 discovery?

Just wondering if a 99 16" rim will fit a 03 discovery with 18" rim? I have been looking just can't seem to find a straight answer on here.

Thanks

If it's a 99 discovery 2, yes. If it's a 99 discovery 1, no.

How can I tell the difference between a 99 d1 rims and a 99 d2 rims? The person I am purchasing from no longer has vehicle just rims with tires mounted.

Thanks

The bolt pattern is visibly different. The D2 uses a 5x120mm pattern common on newer European cars. The D1 uses a much less common, much larger 5x6.5inch pattern that I've never seen on anything other than Land Rovers.

Also, most D2 wheels are 8 inches wide, while almost all D1 wheels are 7 inches wide.

If the wheel bolts on without issues, and says land rover on it, you are good to go.

Actually so you don't get confused, there are some early D2 7" wheels out there also
' What size tire are you planning to use?
