Hi, has any one recently pulled out the subs? Going through this 99 I bought, fixing a myriad of problems, and did not hear any sound coming from the subs. I pulled it all apart and found all the wires cut to everything. There are only four wires coming from the harness, that feeds through the hatch, that I have found cut and taped. Is this correct? I do not see any power wires for this mini amp. I Hot-wired the subs into the front door lower speaker and one seems loud and one doesn't. Also one speaker is wired into the amp and the other is cut so not sure How it's all supposed to be configured and If I'm missing some wiring.
Any info would be appreciated!

pink & black stripe and red & black go to one speaker. Brown & black and white & black go to other speaker. See page from RAVE electrical circuits manual, has all the color codes, etc. Pix shows what connector would have looked like.

 

I have a question. Where is the amp for the subwoofer in the rear? Is the rear subwoofer assembly in the Phillips model the same as the subwoofer in the philips model?
