What codes are you getting? WHat kind of O2's did you put in, and did you do all 4?

Considering all that has to be removed, 1.6 hours for the water pump sounds about right at a shop, although, I would suggest replacing it yourself.

If you have someone that can help you pull the backer, the headliner is pretty easy. I replaced mine for $60.

Oh, and if you don't fix the head gaskets right, you are going to be buying a radiator as well when your engine finally does fail.

YOur brand new O2 sensors can fail if they are being contaminated with something, like coolant in the exhaust.
And remember that 90% of O2 codes on a LR are due to the need of a tune up.
When the engine does not run right the O2's send a false reading to the ECU which then sets off the check engine light with a O2 fault code because the O2's are not sending out of range info.
So when your plugs and wires start to go bad the engine starts to run rich, then the exhaust is out of wack and thats what O2's read, the exhaust, well if the O2's are sending out of wack signals then they must be bad, right?
WRONG!!
Replace the plugs and wires with GOOD ones and the O2 codes go away.
Replace the O2's without fixing the real problem and the codes come right back.
Eventually the engine will start to mis fire because the plugs and wires are so bad that the engine cant run correctly.
Right now it is running just poor enough to set of the CEL, let it go and it will run like crap.
