Default ABS ECU CHANGE OUT

HEY GUYS, DOES ANT ONE KNOW IF THE 3 LIGHTS ON THE DASH WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO OFF IF I REPLACE THE ECU? OR DO I HAVE TO GO TO STEALERSHIP AND PAY THEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE.[sm=burnout.gif]

NO! The ECU is NOT what is causing that. They are called the three amigos, try doing a search on them at the bottom of the site. The ECU is extremly expensive and there is no need to change it. Mike will add more to this, but I will be the first to say dont mess with that ECU.

Do your brakes squeak, are they aftermarket and if you throw a panic stop, do you feel the ABS pulsate thru the brake pedal?????????????????

im goint to assume you got it checked out, and that you do need a ecu, ie, configuration is getting lost, anyway, yes, it needs to be coded to the car, let it know if you have sls or diff lock, even if ecu is the fix for the lights, theyll stay on after you replace it until its flashed
