ABS light
I recently clean and adjust all my abs sensors because I have the right front not in the right position my question is I'm sure that the sensor is not bad becuase since I clean it is not doing the soft pedal and activating the abs how I can get rid of the anti lock light?
My other question is how do I perform a engine flush?
Thanks!

RE: ABS light
Have to have the codes read and cleared by the dealer or a shop with a comparable scanner like autologic.
For the flush. Drain oil, fill back with ATF. Idle for 20 minutes DO NOT DRIVE. drain, change filter and fill with your favorite oil. Be sure to use a quality filter so it doesn't drain back. K&N and Mobile 1 filters are favorites on here..

RE: ABS light
Nope, Autozone can read anything with your check engine light on related to OBD2 faults. Not ABS Faults.
ATF= Automatic transmission fluid. You need to get an owner's manual to see how many quarts your truck takes, and what type of oil. Probably 10W40.LR changed motors and body styles in 99. Depends on if you have a D1 or a D2, Bosch or Gems. Just drain out the oil and replace what comes out with the same amount of ATF. Some change the filter before, some don't
Might want to have a shop do your flush. Doesn't sound like you are the handiest person. No offense, but if you have a lot of buildup, you have better be ready to drop the pan and clean out the oil pickup tube.
Why are you wanting to do a flush?
If you need an owners manual and workshop manual, rover-renovations.com will send you one for free. YOu can also download one off the web. Just Googlle free manual download for discovery or something. Not sure where it is.
