abs sensor extensions
where to get em? is there any way, not obvious, to get more slack? maybe homemade extension, possible?
EE slickrock, the way to go? l8 maybe have em? I don't see them there.
off road yesterday and after a few drops and one big bump, 3 amigos on.
amigo said fail electric signal lr/rr/lf.....
I looked and all were yanked loose, so I must remedy. thanks

answer I was looking for
I have a box of hubs w/sensors. I couldn't figure out any harm in using those wires, to patch in. I figured, I just need to seal up the splice and am good to go.....thank you.
so unless I hear of any catastrophic ill effect, that is the plan. I'm one 4" piece of duct tape away, from having the most ghetto disco in north America.

just butt splices should work, right?
I guess the front lines put on the back would solve 1/2 the problem. then just splice the front

well, I should conclude this thread by stating "the absolute best deal on these extensions is not from EE, but the hefty tub in the corner of my shop. free shipping and fastest delivery ever. oh, and they are free"
Just make sure you get solid connections. It measures the resistance if I remember correctly...so to many connections could effect that. I would Solder the splice and heat shrink for the best results.
When I do electrical I solder each connection, then heat shrink each wire, then heat shrink them all together with one larger one that has a glue inside it. They are insulated and water/heat resistant.
well, i appreciate the direction, guys. But i just crimped them in some waterproof butt clamps, then stuffed some rtv in there.................we'll see if they hold. if not, i will pull out the iron and go to work.thanks, dusty
