ABS/TC/Downhill control problem three lights on
I agree with Disco Mike. There are tons of info out on the web about the "three amigos" as they've been nicknamed. It happened to me on my '02 SE7. It seems I read everything about the problem and finally decided to do something about it. The service dept at my dealer told me I would need a new ABS modulator for $2,000 then labor to put it on. One day when I was buying parts at the dealer the parts guys told me about the repair kit at around $700. The service dept never mentioned the repair kit. So I bought the kit, had a tech install it and I've never had the problem again. That was about 15k-20k miles ago. I believe the part number is SWO500040. There's a shuttle valve kit (SWO500030) that is sold for just under or around $100, but that won't fix the problem. The repair kit includes the shuttle valve kit. Parts and labor was around $850. Hope this helps.
Center kine, do your brakes squeak? If you throw a 30 MPH panic stop on a loose surgace do you feel tha ABS pulsate thru the brake pedal?
like mike said if your brakes are sqeaking that can set of the lights. do a brake test on loose road or gravel and test to see if you get the growl and brake modulation in the brake peddle.
