Bud there is nothing you ca do to turn them off, it takes a special scanner to get in , read and clear ABS codes.
How many miles on your truck, how long since you changed your brake fluid, are your front wheels covered with brake dust, do your brakes squeak alot?

Disco Mike,

I have the same problem. I've got less than 48k on my 02 disco II and I have good pads all the way around. what gives?

Could be from brake dust, heat squeaking brakes, after market brake pads/rotors, dirty brake fluid or a bad wheel sensor.
The only way to tell for sure is to get the codes read.
