Default ABS warning light relay

I just read that great post about using the "blink" system to read the ABS codes on a D1 and was about to give it a try. However there is a conflict in the instructions as to the location of the ABS warning light relay, which has to be pulled prior to running the sequence.

The instructions mentioned in the link in the post say that the relay is "under the seat" (doesn't say which seat) but the RAVE electrical manual says (and includes a photo) it's located "behind RH side of facia, again it doesn't say whether its the RH side of the left hand fascia or the RH side right hand fascia! Are we confused yet?

Can someone let me know how I get at it before I start pulling the truck apart please?

Also if it is in fact under the seat (as opposed to the fascia) and in a group of 6 relays (like the fascia photo in RAVE) how would I know the orientation in order to know which one to pull?

many thanks,
Alan

It is always on the passenger side, so with a LHD it will be on the right, with a RHD it will be on the left.
It is supposed to be under the passenger dash and folds down, there is a bracket or something to hold it in place but it is not uncommon for them to be removed when they keep falling down and hitting the wife in the foot so she gets mad and when the wife is mad that means the husband is mad and it gets ripped out.

Thanks Spike,

I found it but apparently on my year it's unecessary to remove prior to reading the codes.
