Default AC Delete

Is there an AC delete kit available for an 01 d2 V8? I never use the AC and was thinking it might help the motor work a bit less gaining a "little" power. Any idea's?

Not that you'll find a large gain in power, here's the belt part number for DIIs without ACE and without A/C: ERR6899. We also have 2 in stock for some reason, even though I've never seen a NAS D2 without A/C.

No, I do not think there was an AC delete option on a disco certainly not a NAS. you try to measure the serpentine belt minus the compressor and find a belt that is the correct length. or push the econ. but on your heater controller and that shut the clutch to the compressor off which will eliminate all drag on the engine from the compressor..

If doing a shorter belt and re-route, be sure at the end of the day that the water pump is turning the same direction it does now. And other things that turn, other than pulleys.

Can't you just unplug the compressor's electrical connector?

What about defrosting during damp rainy days? Or doesn't your region experience them?

Didn't realize the econ but would do that! Basically no need to remove if that is the case, as far as damp rainy days the blower with fresh air should suffice.
Thanks once again
