Can you cycle through the modes(face, feet, windshield) and hear and feel from the vents of it is moving air properly? Would you want to bypass the heater matrix to stop circulating hot air into the cabin? Next step is going to a shop with knowledge and see how much refrigerant and the pressures are. That lights being out in the back panel mean nothing as long as the buttons function.

I can hear the vents cycle and seem to do as they should (just poor forced air on max) . Button works according just no illumination.

Can you explain “bypassing the heater matrix”?

Ill stop by the ac shop Saturday to check pressure and levels.

the buttons aren't lit up because the bulb is burned out.

Bypass heater matrix/heater core. Just forming a loop of coolant to NOT pass into the cabin. Under hood rubber coolant hoses on passenger side(USA) going into cabin.

I’d like my heater to work this winter 😂

So a tint guy was over at my work today and out of impulse I had him put 20% tint all over the disco.

anything will help at this point haha

Default Update

I took it by a mechanic and had them evac the current Freon and recharge it. When I picked it up it had no cold air at all!!!!! which was way worse.

I turned around and took it right back and they said they would take care of it. (I’m assuming they messed something up) I picked it up again today and it seems to be working just a little better then it was... a little bit colder and both sides seem to be blowing at the same temperature, time will tell if it’s actually better.

they mentioned I could have a dirty evaporator that is causing poor air flow pressure and said they could replace it but they would have to take out the entire dash and it would cost over a grand to do. I can currently live with the AC the way it is for now.

im changing the cowl out now for a new one and realized that this thing has been with out a cabin filter for who know how long.

What issues could that do?

Im putting on a brand new on right now.
