Default ACE, long term reliability---tell me about it, please

ACE, Active Cornering Enhancement----Just how dependable has it now proven to be, over long term? Does it need frequent upkeep, to keep it working well, or does it hold up extremely well over time? How difficult would it be to install, using parts claimed from used Discovery with ACE, on 2004 Discovery II that did not originally come with it? Is it worth all that much bother to install the system?

Haha it MUST be. Only one crazy enough to try this retrofit

If not TRIARIII, do a search. There has been a lot of discussion on this topic with the general consensus being, sell your current disco and find one that has ACE if you really want the system

Isn't ACE controlled by the ECU? If so, would need a new one/wire harness along with all the hardware. Can't imagine that'd be cheap.

The big plug for the ace ecu has been in every D2 I've owned, even though they don't have ACE. I'm not sure about anything else though.
