SAI stands for secondary air injection, it is a emissions thing.
Think of it as California emissions as not all truck have them.

Thanks Phil!

I did do a bit of searching for the whine, but I couldn't hit anything relevant. I'll research on the specific part and get that ole' filter changed.

Thanks Phil!

THANK YOU!

I haven't done anything with it yet- it hasn't made the noise in a couple days. I'm in like... Superman mode over here, working like crazy. I feel like on the Matrix when everything is in slow-motion.

I haven't had time to find a mechanic for my "head gasket" either... just been driving it and checking the oil and topping off the coolant. If she burns up... I'll f***ing buy a new Disco.

I get comments all the time "man you guys are fast, I just ordered this Sun at 11pm and it's here on Tues all ready."
"Just placed this order yesterday before work"
I get stuff like that at least 3 times a day.

Just to give you a idea, my route normally runs 115-120 stops per day, right now I am running no less than 135.
Had 150 yesterday, 139 today, and we added 15 temp routes this last Tues.

That is AWESOME! I know that a lot of people are doing at least a portion of their Christmas shopping online these days- that's got to be good for business.

Soon I will have to start having things delivered to my office instead of my house... won't be long before my driveway is only accessible via Land Rover, and I don't feel like jerking a UPS truck around again.

Keep making the world go around, my friend!

PS- If I were president, I would private the postal service and I'll bet FedEx could do it FASTER and Cheaper than the bloated USPS!
