Added a 2004 D2 to the family !
I can't wait to hear how you rate the D2 against the other Rover's. When I have a garage eventually, and the D2 is my hobby/play/off road vehicle I would love to get another Rover of a less maintenance oriented type. A man has only so much much time and money....at least this one.
So, after just 4 days of driving, I totally get why people have put up with the quirks and little issues that the D2s have. It’s really fun to drive even just around town. I like the feel of riding on top of a vehicle as opposed to in a vehicle. It is a neat experience. Can’t wait to take it on some trails although mild until I get my mods done. The kids love it (10,15). They are asking to be dropped off and picked up from school in it. It is just loaded with character.

By the way...you win at Land Rover. LOL!!
