We recently purchased jump seats for our Land Rover Discovery SE. We already have the seats and headrests installed, but we are not sure what is needed in order to install the seat belts. Are there brackets that are needed in order to secure it? We bought a used set from ebay. Thank you very much for any help.

Installing the third row jump seats in a Discovery II is quite possible. This would be the '03-'04 model, and my reference is my own 2003 SE.

The floor pan has pre drilled and tapped holes for the latch bracket. You can cut away the carpet by feeling around for the recessed area.

The attachments on the side are behind the lower panels. If you purchase off of eBay from a donor vehicle, be sure to get ALL or most of the hardware. If you don't, you can get most of the appropriate sized bolts from a hardware store. The mountings for the seat-belts do require you to tap a few existing holes in the body. Two on the D pillar and one on the floor pan.

The hardest part is not having an actual instruction manual to reference. If you take your time, and logically look over the pieces and the interior body of the vehicle it makes sense where the parts go. Word of advice- this is difficult. Worst part is mounting the seats brackets and fighting the spring tension. Here are some photos of the process, but I got too far into the work to fully document the install. I have the right side left to go, and may try and document the process.

Default We did this in a 2000

The only difference is thebholesnwere not threaded so we had to tap them. All of the holes r there it's basically a tap the holes and swap all the pieces. If anyone in AZ is contemplating this there is an SE7 at the pick n pull off of Chandler blvd they want 50 dollars a seat not sure what they want for the trim and seat belts.

The other issue especially in AZ is the lack of rear air
