Default Adding a CDL on a disco II

www.discovery2.co.uk / Disco 1 CDL into a Disco 2. Just wondering if any one has done this. Is this similar as having diff locks at each axle but instead of the transfer case, is this even worth the time to do?

No, it isn't anywhere close to that. It's completely different, and probably beyond the scope of a message board to explain the difference between locking diffs on axles and a center locking diff.

Google positraction and detroit locker as a start for learning what axle diffs do. These trucks have open front and rear diffs and use electronic traction control (by way of the 4 channel ABS). This is a typical electronic traction control setup. Some feel this is fine, others prefer mechanical lockers.

A center diff lock simply turns a full time 4 wheel drive transfer case into a part time 4 wheel drive transfer case. It is a very, very good thing off road.
