Adding oil pressure and temp guage
#11
Ok, I'm putting the engine back in the truck next week. Prior to that I figured I'd run the oil line and temp probe thru the firewall.
To those who are running mechanical gauges, These in particular https://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-2392/overview/ where in the engine block did you put the temp probe? I assume you adapted the oil line to the front cover where the O.E. oil pressure switch is located?

I have both in an overhead nacelle, invaluable for engine protection. Personally I don't like the A pillar type too much, too much in your face (I have one here going begging) I much prefer the overhead location on the plastic above the centre mirror.
