Default advice

Looking at a 2000 discovery with 180000 mi he wants 2200 now heres the grab

says needs a new head gasket I have a mechanic that can do the work, but I also read mikes thread on what to do.

So nothing in life is guarnteed but if I do the work well i ahve to pay the guy and from all indications it seems maybe after doing all the added work,

is 2500 a good number and if so what should I offer the guy ?

The book probable says 5000 6000 ? maybe i am thinking 1500 offer

any advice is welcome besides your crazy I know that. Guess my point is getting a good truck for 3000 3500 thanks again
