advice on a possible disco
99 SD DII with 93k
Head gaskets were replaced in 07.
What I found was:
-leaking oil pan
-slop in the steering at highway speeds, possible tie-rod problem.
-needs a transmission service as there were jolts upon acceleration at highway speeds, maybe u-joint problem.
-brakes so-so
thats what i saw initially. PO had it serviced at roverland in boston. its been sitting for 3 weeks. asking $3k, talked him down to $2700. seems solid.
