Default After market exhaust for a DII?

So I noticed over the last month I was getting an additional 70 miles per tank of gas and had more power up hill. I then noted a rattle coming from under the truck. You guessed it, the exhaust pipe had broken off after the cats and before the muffler. (no back flow into the engine I am thinking)
Are there any good aftermarket exhaust systems that will keep giving me the horsepower and mileage?.. and not sound like there is no muffler on the truck?

I swear.. I was filling up at just short of 300 miles per tank (280-290 before the fuel light went on)
For the last month I am stretching it to about 360? WTF? and more power to boot? .. because of a broken exhaust pipe?
BTW...my Cats are still in play..the pipe broke after the cats.!

There are lots of performance exhausts out there...Borla, Magnaflow, whatever. Any muffler shop can fit something in there.

What would be good to know is if anyone upgraded their exhaust with a performace system and seen these types of increases. Mine is still stock but I cut off the resonator. I'm where you were...280-290 per tank. If I could get another 70 miles per tank (that's a 25% increase!!!) I would spend the coin on a new exhaust.

I am lucky to get 270 miles out of mine. I do have a heavy foot at times though. I notice a rattle coming from my cats. Still passes emmisions. I don't like how the transmission holds the gear in second from a stop, unless your on a hill or punch the gas. It seems like a waste of gas to pull a high gear ratio like that. I always use sport mode, normal mode is way to sluggish. Keep us posted if you find a good exhaust system. A muffler shop can also bend you a custom exhaust.
