Default After market one piece lug nuts

I've always used the 1 1/16 6pt socket when mounting or dismounting tires at home but I recently had to have some shop work done and I am pretty sure they used the wrong socket as the SS caps are marred and no longer accept my socket. I even told them beforehand the size socket and no impact wrench but I was unable to see them do the actual work.

I'm at the point where I would just like to replace the OEM style nuts with quality one piece ones. I can't always look over the shoulder of a mechanic to assure they know what they are doing and my Disco already has a lot of aftermarket parts so being non LR is no big deal.

I saw these on ebay, a 20 piece set for $130, they list these as fitting factory wheels for 1999-2004 Discovery Series II

Anyone had any experience with aftermarket one piece nuts?

A lot of people with NAS Defenders switch to the 1 piece RRC lug nuts because they're one piece. They just rust quicker, but you can use an impact all the time!

Seems like a good idea. Someone had a thread just last week with the exact issue.
