Some of the people with inline 180deg have trouble getting into closed loop. Because of this some have used an inline 195deg stat and still achieved better temps then the factory stat. Im happy enough with my temps now that im not going to attempt the inline mod. Probably the biggest gains from the inline mod is doing away with the factory bypass valve.
